Day 1
Welcome to the Andes and a tour of the Historic Center
Your trip starts in Maiquetía, where you'll fly to El Vigía Airport. On arrival, your pre-arranged ground transfer will take you to Mérida. Along the way, the landscape gradually reveals the mountains and the lush green of the Andean region.
At Tibisay Hotel Boutique you can settle into your room and rest before heading out to explore the city.
In the afternoon, you'll tour the Historic Center with a guide who knows Mérida's heritage well. Squares, traditional streets and landmarks will introduce you to the history and customs that shape Mérida's identity.
And of course there's time for one of the city's small pleasures: its traditional handmade ice cream, with a possible stop at Heladería Coromoto or another spot, depending on the schedule.

Day 2
Andean Páramo: landscapes that make you stop

Day 3
Mérida Cable Car: the Andes from another perspective
Today you'll see the mountains from a different perspective.
After breakfast, you'll be taken to the Mukumbarí Mérida Cable Car System for this iconic tourist experience.
As you go up, the scenery changes and the views of the range take on a new dimension. The air can get colder as you gain altitude, so bring warm clothes and be ready for temperature changes. You'll be able to enjoy the setting, take photos and admire the vastness of the Venezuelan Andes from the stations open to visitors.
Afterwards, you'll return to the city to enjoy the rest of the day and rest before heading home. Dinner at Kaffia Caffe will follow the schedule and services confirmed for your travel date.
